Who We Are

The Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collaborates with local partners to support a broad array of charitable causes in our store communities, including: food insecurity, homelessness, veterans, child welfare, animal rescue, and healthcare services. During times of humanitarian crisis, the foundation’s focus broadens to provide emergency medical supplies, hygienic products, clothing and food for those in need, both domestic and abroad.

Furniture Donation

Ocean State Job Lot recently partnered with the Provision Ministry on a furniture donation. Their invaluable connections and network across the Northeast allowed us to help those in need with over 18 truckloads of furniture over the past few weeks.

Giving Back to Those Who Served

Navy Petty Officer Grace Lucasi has always loved motorcycles and the open road. But after a traumatic service injury while preparing for Operation Desert Shield left her with life-altering injuries, she feared she would never experience life on two wheels again. Now, Grace serves as the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation’s Volunteer Coordinator for Connecticut and is the driving force behind our efforts to provide food, warm clothing, and essential supplies to veterans and military families. Junior Jokers Coat Donation

Ahead of February’s historic end-of-the-month blizzard, Ocean State Job Lot in Mays Landing, NJ, was able to give back to its local community by donating coats collected during the Buy-Give-Get program. They provided 584 coats to the Junior Jokers organization! Together, we are making a difference!
